RODNEY HOWARD WHEATLEY, III was born on Thursday, August 4, 1988 in Baltimore, Maryland to LaTasha Jacobs and Rodney H. Wheatley, Jr. Rodney, also affectionately known as "Three", "Lil Rodney" and "Tear Drop", departed this life suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. God, in his infinite wisdom and timing, took him to his eternal resting place, where he will join his loved ones that have transitioned before him.

Rodney received his formal education in the Baltimore City Public School System. He obtained employment with Baltimore City and then started his own transportation service ...Flip Transportation.   

Rodney accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized into fellowship at the Saint Paul United Methodist Church. Rodney loved the Lord and loved sharing his word. All the kids in the neighborhood loved Rodney and his love for them was mutual. Whenever Rodney was in your presence he always had a joke (or two) and sometimes a corny one, that would really have you laughing. Above all, his music was his passion..."TMZ For Life".

Rodney loved life and he loved his family and friends. He will be missed by all who loved him and whose lives he touched.

Rodney's wonderful and loving memory will forever be cherished by his loving mother, LaTasha Jacobs; father, Rodney H. Wheatley, Jr; brother, Desmond H. Wheatley; grandparents, Tyrone Jacobs, Marlene (Hilary) Rhock and Rodney H. Wheatley, Sr.(Darlene); great grandmothers, Lorraine Addison and Juanita R. Wheatley; God-brother, Marcus; girlfriend, Sharnell and her two sons, DelShawn and Deontay. To cherish his memories Rodney also leaves a host of uncles, aunts, great aunts, great uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
