MYRTLE NANCE ROBINSON was born February 21, 1931. The daughter of the late Clayton and Ella Nance in Evergreen, North Carolina. She had four brothers by her mother and six brothers by her father. All have preceded her. At a young age her family settled in Baltimore where she remained until she departed this life on May 18, 2017. She was a dedicated and loving matriarch of her family.

She was educated in Evergreen Public School and later attended Mount Olive High School in North Carolina. While in North Carolina she worked on the farm. Myrtle was a member of St. Mary's Baptist Church in Evergreen North Carolina. She was baptized in the Boardman River, in Boardman, N.C.

In Baltimore, Maryland she met and married William Otis Robinson. There was seven children from this union William Robinson (Boosie), Gregory Robinson (Peewee), Chris Robinson (Deceased) Diane Robinson-Richardson (Laura), Sandra Robinson, Valerie Robinson (Babbey) and Allen Robinson. She would always say but for the grace of God "the Lord took care of us".

Myrtle affectionately known as Mom was a dedicated member of Little Rock Baptist Church on Biddle and Rutland Ave. Pastor Evans. She later moved to Devine Baptist Church, Pastor Shaw, until due to illness was unable to attend. On October 11, 2011 she became a member of Ecclesia of Living Waters, Pastor Reynolds where she would often receive communion at home. She loved the Lord and never faltered in her faith.

Myrtle loved people and loved to see people happy. She loved to cook. Whole heartily and freely sharing what she had whether food, a kind word or wisdom for the journey. She also loved to crochet and often gave friends and family her handy-work.
