Welcome to the memorial page for

Lunette Peele

February 16, 1956 ~ January 10, 2017 (age 60) 60 Years Old

LUNETTE PEELE, was born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 16, 1956, the third child of Ivy L. Peele and the late James A. Peele. After a short illness she was called home to be with the Lord on January 10, 2017.

Growing up you would always see Lunette with her sister Novelair in matching outfits meticulously handmade by their mother. Lunette graduated from Lake Clifton Senior High School and completed several college courses at Ashford University.

Lunette had a long 20 year career in banking before venturing into nurses staffing where she worked part-time at Nursefinders for over 12 years. During the past 6 years she worked for Inovalon Corporation.

Lunette was very creative, in her spare time she loved to knit, crochet, color (before it became trendy), paint and sew. She was always an avid reader with a special interest in medical symptoms, diagnostic research, as well as romance novels.

There were many special moments in her life but the most joyous occasion was the birth of her son, Bryan G. Brown. She taught him how to be loving, caring and understanding. She was his strength and their relationship was second to none.

Lunette loved and enjoyed life and all it had to offer. Her family and friends held a special place in her heart. She was full of life and could always be known for her infectious smile that would light up a room. She was often known for one of her favorite sayings, "oh dern"!. She loved the simple things in life. She often visited North Carolina and Virginia but her dream was to travel internationally. In April 2016, that dream was fulfilled when she travelled to Punta Cana, DR and witnessed her one and only son Bryan marry the love of his life, Zarina.

Lunette accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior under the spiritual guidance of Elder Lawson Smith II, of Greater Remnant Church of God in Christ.

She leaves many wonderful memories with her mother Ivy L. Peele; her son Bryan G. Brown (Zarina); granddaughters, Destinee Brown, Jazmine Maith and Jaeda Maith; grandson, Jordan Maith; siblings, Linwood Peele (Emily), Rondal Hardy (Ann) of North Carolina, Novelair Peele (Joseph), Leslie Peele (special friend Wanda) and Antoinette Peele; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and her undeniable love for the family furry babies Joshua and Chouli; her loving companion and source of her happiness Antonio Curtis Vines.
