Welcome to the memorial page for

Lizzie M Aaron

March 9, 1929 ~ June 8, 2017 (age 88) 88 Years Old

Lizzie Mae Aaron was born to Fred and Velma (Lyles) Craddock on March 9,

1929 in Red Springs, North Carolina.

As a young teen, she moved to Baltimore, MD, where she received her

formal education in the public-school system. Later in her twenties, Lizzie

attended cosmetology school where she enhanced her God-given talent of

doing hair. Once married with children, Lizzie knew that she would stay

home and care for her husband and children, which she did exceptionally.

God brought Willie Aaron into her life and they were united in Holy

Matrimony. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church Family

where she faithfully served until she was no longer able to take the

journey. Lizzie accepted Christ as a young girl. She loved serving the Lord,

and instilled the importance of having a relationship with God in each of

her children.

Lizzie was very devoted to her 9 children, and there was not a shadow of a

doubt that she loved her family. Even in her final days her children were

constantly on her mind. She raised her grandchildren as her own and was a

mother figure to everyone who loved her. Not only was she a mother to

her children and grandchildren, she was also a teacher to them; she taught

her children the 23rd Psalm and the Lord’s Prayer. Every day was like a

special occasion if she was cooking.

Lizzie was preceded in death by: her husband Willie, her sister Katie, her

brother Jerry, her daughters Marie and Brenda, and her sons Kenneth,

Eugene, and Wayne, her grandchildren Kim and Kenneth Jr.

She also leaves to cherish her memory: her sons Ronald, Michael, Reginald

and her daughter Audrey (John). She also leaves behind her grandchildren,

Ronda (Maurice), Aaron, Kanisha, Michele, Odell, Jerod, Michael Jr.,

Michelle (Missi), Faith, Amber, Karis, Kayla. Three sisters Ethel, Sheila Jones

(Charles), Amelia and three brothers, Albert, Edwin and John. One Brother

in law Daniel Aaron (Margaret) and sister in law Rose Hughes. As well as

her great granddaughter, Dashawn (Calvin) Cottingham, whom she raised

and a host of other relatives and friends.
