LINDA BERNICE PARKER was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 30, 1945 to the late Ernestine Butts and Thomas J. Anderson. On October 13, 2017, at 11:10am she departed this life to go home to be with her Lord.

She received her education in the Baltimore City School System and graduated from Dunbar High School in 1963. Linda continued to further her education, taking college classes at Monterey Peninsula College & BCCC. She enlisted in the US Army in 1964 and was honorably discharged as a nurse. Linda could have you laughing at her escapades during her tour of duty.

Linda Parker was untied in marriage to Charles Boston in August 1999, in Kentucky. From this union their daughter Michelle Boston was born. 

Linda returned to Baltimore, where she was employed at the United Way of Central Maryland, eventually retiring after 25 years of  service. Linda was a dedicated worker and everyone at the organization loved her wit, infectious laughter and willingness to always go the "extra mile" to get the job done! She later returned to the work force, becoming a financial aid counselor at Morgan State University, for 3 years.  

Her love for Michelle, Linaya and Donnelle knew no bounds. To many Linda is the true embodiment of the word "Friend"! Always there to lend a helping hand to provide support to family, friends and even strangers. The old saying "shirt off his back", Linda would give you the blouse off her back and shoes off her feet.

Linda was an excellent cook, always cooking delicious meals for family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Harvey Butts. Linda leaves to cherish her memories one loving and devoted daughter, Michelle & Granddaughter, Linaya "The apple of her eye" great grandson, Donnelle; four maternal brothers, Donnie (Valerie), Clarence, Ernest and Andra; paternal sister, Marlene, other sisters & brothers; host of nieces & nephews, adopted daughters, wonderful girlfriends, extended family & friends.
