KENNETH WRAY SMITH was born October 13, 1955 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Hazel Dorothy Riddick and Leslie Smith. Kenneth moved to Philadelphia with his mother at early age where he received his elementary to high school education.

After High School Kenneth enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp, and later reenlisted in the U.S. Army where he received an honorable discharge. Kenneth went to trade school where he earned a certificate in accounting and learned to work on cars. Kenneth came to Baltimore and found employment at Pep Boys, Jimmy Tires and later Brawner Builders. He was hardworking, patient and diligent at his craft.

While in Baltimore Kenneth met and later married Paula LuCynthia Evans, affectionally known as "Lu-Lu". Paula was the love of Kenneth's life they were married for almost 20 years before god called Paula home May 2014. Kenneth was also a very loving and loyal father his only daughter Ashley D. Smith. They shared a very special friendship and had an unbreakable bond. On August 31, 2017 Kenneth became the proud and loving grandfather to his only "grand baby" Kamdyn A. Mcfail. Kamdyn was his joy and the new highlight of his life. 

Kenneth made numerous friends where ever he went. Wallace Jennings and Floyd Banks were 2 of his closest friends who both preceded him in death.

Kenneth will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Ashley D. Smith, his grand daughter Kamdyn A. Mcfail, step-son Jordan A. Evans, his older cousin Jacqueline Antione, 2 younger cousins Dan Freeman and Tracie Davis, 5 sisters-in-law and 1 brother in law an a host of other relatives and friends.
