KAREN BONITA POMPEY, beloved daughter of the late William and Helen Pompey came into this world on June 17, 1955. She was called home by the Lord on August 12, 2017.

Karen attended Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated from Fairmont High School. She was employed at the Sheraton and was a House Manager at I Can We Can Counseling Center.

Karen was loved by many wherever she went. She loved to watch Law and Order and eat Milky Way Candy Bars. She will be greatly missed and loved always.

Karen was proceeded in death by her parents, the late William and Helen Pompey, sisters Wanda Pompey and Terry Saulsbury.

With fond memories, Karen leaves to cherish her memory, children: Karen Bonita Gilliam or Orlando, Florida, Omari Terrance Washington of Baltimore, Maryland and Alicia Nicole Jeter of Baltimore, Maryland and Alicia Nicole Jeter of Baltimore, Maryland, sister, Natonja Ringgold; grandchildren, Kelsey Gilliam-Rodriques, Kendall Gilliam, Omari Washington, Thomas Washington and Makai Washington; nieces, Kionna Young, Tara Saulsbury, Dasia and Kayla Leach; nephews, Malik Williams, Paul Saulsbury, Treyvon Saulsbury, Devin Saulsbury and Darrell Goines and a host of family and friends.
