Ira C. Wise

IRA CHESTER WISE, affectionately known as "Chick", born to the late Sadie and Jessie Wise, departed this life on February 19, 2018.

Chick received hos education in the Baltimore Public School System. Chick was very well known where ever he went especially on the East side of Baltimore. He was loved and well respected by all those that knew him. Chick loved kids, often teaching them karate and they loved learning  from him. Chick always had a story to tell sharing his wisdom, knowledge and life experiences with his family and friends.

Chick loved and adored his daughters and grandchildren, there was never a conversation had where he wouldn't talk about them. Chick was without a doubt, that individual that was always willing to help anyone he could in any way possible. He was a hard worker, construction and building was his craft and passion. Chick will greatly be missed by family and friends.

Chick leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Marquerita Cavanaugh Wise; four sisters, Emily Garey, Luwanna Nelson, Sarah Wise and Sadie Roane; three brothers, Samuel and Curtis Wise and Michael Smalls, Sr.; two brothers who proceeded him in death; Linwood Wise and Jessie Wise and one sister, Rosetta Yarbrough, six daughters, Kimberly Jordan, Benita Brown, Iris Wise, Nyshedah Brown, Takisha Jordan Wise and April Wise; eight granddaughters, five grandsons and one great grandson."Heaven" his pit-bull; three very special friends, Reginald "Reggie" Durgen, Alvin "Butchie" Livingston and Nay Nay; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
