Glenn McLean

April 19, 1949 ~ November 13, 2017 (age 68) 68 Years Old

GELNN DOUGLASS MCLEAN son of the late Early Mclean and Rosalie Bethune was born on April 19, 1949 in Fayetteville, N.C. He departed this life on November 13, 2017.

Glenn received his early education in Baltimore City Public Schools. He attended Edmondson Westside High School, where he graduated in 1968. He was immediately drafted into the United States Army in 1968. Glenn served 2 years in  Vietnam War as a tank operator and returned valiantly as a Renowned Soldier, to Baltimore MD. Glenn returned home and married Brenda Little on October 23, 1971 and out of their union in marriage Chennita Mclean (his baby girl) was born.

Glenn started his career as a Machine Operator for Tate Flooring Inc. in Jessup, MD. he excelled in his position for several years. A side from working at Tate he also helped out in the family business (MCL Floors) with his brothers. Doing floors was his true passion.

In the year 2005, Glenn joined Lighthouse Ministries Praise and Worship Center, Inc. where Dr. Gary F. Harrison, Senior Pastor and Dr. Brenda J. Harrison, Pastor resides. Glenn loved the Lord and reading the bible. Glenn grew up surrounded with lots of love. He was the life of every family function and he loved to sing and dance. His favorite dance routine was the two step and slide and his favorite saying was, "It's in the Contract."

Glenn was preceded in death by his father Early McLean, mother Rosalie Bethune and brother Duane Mclean.

Glenn leaves to mourn: his wife Brenda Mclean, daughter Chennita Mclean-Damon (Shawn); grandchildren, Dashawn Douglass, Jeremiah and Jaiden; six sisters, Patricia Ceo (Fred), Brenda Weidel (Paul), Lucy Pinkett (Dion), Lillie Little, Cynthia Mclean and Easter Rainey (William); two brothers, Lavern Mclean (Sharon), Willie Mclean Sr. and special friend, Rocena Kittrell and a host of family and friends.
