Let not your heart be troubled ye believe in God believe also in me and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:1-3

Ella Leach was born on July 5, 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Isaac and Lillian Pryor. She had two brothers (Earl and Roger Pryor) both who preceded her in death. She was educated in Baltimore, Maryland where she graduated from Dunbar Senior High School in 1958. She then began her work career at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the Pediatric Radiology Department. She was a dedicated employee. She retired in 2001 after thirty-nine years of devoted service.

Ella rededicated her life to Christ over twenty-five years ago, she was baptized at First Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Leroy Fitts. She was active in the church serving as a Sunday School Teacher and a loyal member of the soup kitchen.

Ella was a loving, warm hearted and generous woman. She loved the Lord and was faithful in her walk with Christ. She was always there to listen to others and console anyone who needed to be nurtured. Her greatest joy was cooking and spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing cards, watching basketball and game shows.
