Remembering Baby Boy DAVON LAMAR FUQUA, son of Annette Rogers and Derrick Lamont Fuqua Sr.,came into the world greeting his mother with those sparkling eyes on August 1, 1984 at John Hopkins Hospital.

Day, affectionately called by his family, was the apple of his mom eyes just like her other children Sharnetta and Derrick, but Day was the one everyone looked after and who became a spoiled baby boy.

During his younger years, Davon accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior while attending Sunday School every Sunday with his siblings, always ready singing the bus here.

Davon received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. Davon received perfect attendance and honor roll from kindergarten through 8th grade. Life challenges begin for Davon when his love began to transition tragically, making it hard to understand. Davon continued to push through life even when it beat him down. His sister always ensured him God doesn't make mistakes.

Always thinking he was the man with his handsome smile, stylish ways and charm landed him the affection of many people. Davon liked all sports and played many as a child and had a huge passion for basketball.

Davon's life changed December 2, 2005, when his first daughter London was born. Joining his father and London, spitting image Prince Mason was born. Happy with his princess and prince he then welcomed Decota and Baby Madison . Davon treated all his kids equally and tried his best to be a great father. "Daytona" was the fashionable fly guy, who enjoyed traveling, dining at his favorite place MO's Seafood and playing at the casino tables.

On May 11th Davon transitioned. He leaves his mother Annette and father Derrick Sr.; four children, London, Mason, Decota and Baby Madison; sisters, Sharnetta, Dashay and Derricsha; two brothers, Derrick and Deronte; the love of his life Chynea; nieces, nephews and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
