DANYETTA LATARSHA WIGGINS-BAYLOR (DANNY), daughter of Beverly Vines Glen and the late Scott Wiggins was born on January 2, 1975 in Baltimore, MD. On Wednesday, February 21, 2018, God touched her hand and called his angel home to rest.
Danny graduated from the Institute of Notre Dame in 1993 and studied nursing at Baltimore City Community College. She worked for Johns Hopkins Hospital for a number of years in various positions. She was well loved and respected among her co-workers and her ability to connect with people from all walks of life, allowed her to flourish in the workplace. Danny accepted Christ at an early age and often attended New Mt. Olive Baptist Church where she devoted her time and talents to various ministries. Her personal relationship with the Lord is what sustained her throughout her life. Despite what was going on in and around her, she knew she could go to God. Her favorite scripture was Psalms 138:8; The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth forever.
In 2007, she married Reginald Baylor and they soon welcomed the love of their lives, Ms. Chloe Laura Baylor. Danny was a wonderful mother who adored doting on her daughter and relished in the mother/daughter time they shared. They would hunt for hidden treasures at local yard sales and attend different festivals in the downtown area. She especially cherished their outings that included all day salon spa treatments. Her love for Chloe was second only to her love for God. Danny was also a doting daughter and sister. She loved spending time with her mother, Beverly and brother, Otis. Shopping trips and backyard cookouts were how they connected. The three shared an impenetrable bond.
Danny enjoyed traveling, attending comedy shows and concerts and listening to music (her favorite being the Dave Matthews Band). She loved spending time with her friends and family (particularly her cousins). She often attended their super bowl parties and cookouts where she could get a grilled hot dog (also a favorite of hers). She loved to make people laugh with her quirky sense of humor and quick wit. She was the life of the party and often referred to as "the best that ever did it".
Danny leaves many cherished memories with an abundant number of family and friends, her husband Reginald Baylor; her adoring daughter, Chloe Baylor; her devoted mother, Beverly Vines Glen; stepfather Otis Glen Sr.; her loving brother Otis Glen Jr.; sisters, Ebony Wiggins & Joy'L Battle; one aunt Linda Vines; five uncles, Kelly Vines (Shelly), Tony Vines, Jasper Vines, and Bernard Vines; god parents, Pastor Lewis and Juliet Robinson. She also leaves a host of cousins, family and friends.
For now, we will celebrate and let Danny rest; although we loved her , God loved her best.
