CORRINE JENKINS (WALKER) was born on August 13, 1936 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Wilson and Cora Walker. Corrine was one of ten children, nine preceding her in death.
Corrine attended Baltimore City Public Schools. She later went on to obtain a certification in cosmetology. After working several years in the industry, she was employed as a seamstress until her retirement.
At an early age Corrine accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and was an active member of The Tabernacle of The Lord Church and Ministries under the leadership of Bishop C. Guy Robinson where she was active with the Savvy Senior Ministry.
Corrine met and married the late Authur Lee Jenkins.
Corrine had a kind, nurturing spirit and she was genuinely loved by everyone she came in contact with. She became like a second mother and grandmother to many of her children's friend and neighborhood kids.
Corrine had a huge genuine heart. Whether it was a warm smile; a sound word of advice, or a simple hello, she always had something to give. Corrine was a true example of God's love and his light shown through her for all to see.
Corrine leaves to treasure very fond memories her children; Kevin (Veronica) Cofield, Karen (Nathaniel) Robinson, Wendy (Robert) Farris and Wanda Cofield, nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews (most of whom she was instrumental in raising), other relatives and friends.
