Welcome to the memorial page for

Clarence A Jeter

May 2, 1946 ~ November 5, 2017 (age 71) 71 Years Old

On Sunday, November 5, 2017 the Heavenly Angels called home to rest Clarence A. Jeter, our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. With gratitude in our hearts for the time the Lord allowed us to share his life, we set aside this day to celebrate. He was born to the late Frank and Beulah Jeter on May 2, 1946 in Union, South Carolina.

Clarence early childhood education was completed in Union, South Carolina. After moving to Baltimore, Maryland he completed his formal education in the Baltimore City Public School System. Clarence was also a member of the military. When he returned from the military he continued hid education and graduated from Coppin State University. He also graduated from RET Electronic College. He began his career and continued to pursue many opportunities for job advancement across the United States. Clarence was last employed at the MTA where he retired.

Clarence was very talented and had many passions, computers, photography and music (saxophone, drums and trombone). With formal training he was able to master all of his interest. He was a Mason and belonged to the St. Jacob Lodge 290. He was also an ordained minister.

No matter where you went someone was bound to know Clarence. This is because he was easy going and loved to talk. People felt comfortable around him and he always kept you laughing with his stories. He was the life of the party.

Clarence most recent baptism was at Bethesda Baptist Church in South Carolina. Marvin Sapp's "The Best in Me" lyrics is proof God loves us unconditionally.

Clarence's memory will continue to be cherished by his children, Sabrina, Ometriss, Nicholas Jeter, Jasmine and Tysha Burrell; grandchildren, Sydney and Blake Jeter; siblings, Mary Helen Jenkins Belt (Ray), Frank Jeter Jr. (Rosa Lee), Frank Earl Adams (Harriet) and Francina Presly (Louis); one uncle, Earl Dawkins; one aunt, Ira Bell Jeter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
