On Thursday, August 17, 2017, CAROLINE LOUISE BECK, gained her wings and has set off on a safe flight into the arms of God; and to those who have gone on before her, waiting in anticipation of her arrival as she makes her way into heaven.

Caroline Beck, daughter of the late Johnny and Beatrice Lewis was born on December 8, 1949 in Whitakers, North Carolina.

Caroline received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. She met and married Steve Beck Sr. and from that union they had two sons.

Caroline accepted Jesus at an early age under the leadership of Elder Chandler at United Penetecostal Miracle Church. She later joined Inner Court Ministries under the tutelage of Jonathan Wallace where she rekindled her relationship with God. She also attended power of Deliverance Church under the direction of Pastor Jean Shacklett.

Caroline was a versatile woman; her talent and interests were spread through many things. She was known as "Goldie" for fashion and modeling. She did numerous fashion shows for family gatherings.

Caroline loved a good card game from spades to bid whist.

Left to cherish her memories: three children, James, Anthon and Nicole; four grandchildren, Marquise, Anthon Jr., Deniouse. India and Jade; three great grandchildren, Ari, Ian and Marquise Jr.; three sisters, Dorothy (Toy), Barbara (Terry) and Veverlyn (Buck); four brothers, Linwood, Larry, Dana and Johnny III (J.J.); two uncles, James Steward of Rocky Mountain North Carolina and William Daniel of California; three aunts, Pastor Jean Shacklett and Maggie Thompson (Joe) and Ocie Taylor (Detroit) and host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two special cousins, Veronica (Sweet who she called her sister-cousin) and Rochelle (Niecy); Caroline was preceded in death by her two brothers, Luther Lewis and Johnny Lewis Jr.
