Bridgetti Tatum Obituary

Dear Family and Friends,

My name is Bridgetti Lynn Alberta Tatum, I entered this world on Friday, December 14, 1962, last child of the lineage of John Solomon Sr. and Maehilda Christina Tatum. I was raised with three brothers (Nathaniel, Michael and Kevin) and three sisters (Robin, Karen and Betty). Educated in the Baltimore City Public Schools, graduating from Eastern High School in 1980, I pursued college for a few years attending Towson University. I loved life to the fullest, I never met a stranger anywhere. I laughed, I cried, I was bought up in the Ebenezer Baptist Church where I sang on the choir, ushered, and was baptized at an early age. I later became a member of the New Antioch Church. I worked as a Mentor for Keys Development. Life treated me fairly, had some bumps and bruises, but most of all I had love. From my love, God allowed me to be a Mother to Brandy Kristina, Brock Solomon, Brea Candace and Brian Richard, the true loves of my life. I will miss you dearly, always know that I may not have done everything right, but you are truly loved by me.

In life I met some interesting people, some that taught me how to do right and some that helped me do wrong, but when I met the Master planner I changed my ways, my walk and my talk. I strayed, like a lot of us do, but I was making a comeback and a difference in many lives, especially my Booda girl, McKenzie (my granddaughter). Lady will miss you the most, you’re growing so nicely. PS keep your Mom in check.

To my Family - no regrets, you’ve helped me make it this far, now I have to go the last mile on my own. To my Friends, get right with God, for tomorrow is not promised to any of us, do it now, don’t be late - time is winding down. To my NA Colleagues - strive to make the steps work for you - you can do it - I’ll continue to coach you thru - just call my name every now and then, I’ll be there.

Well my assignment is complete, my Father God signed off on it on March 27, 2018. Wow! My journey is over, satisfaction guarantee. Dad, Brock, Mike, Nate and David, I’m coming to join you.  I would love to thank each and every one of you for standing by my side all these 55 years. No regrets, just memories - cherish them, I know I will.

Leaving you with love, to my mother and friend, Maehilda C. Tatum, my loving children: Brandy, Brea and Brian; my siblings: Robin (Melvin), Karen, Betty, Kevin (Mary); John Jr., Darlene (Tyrone), Sheryl (Gregory), Reginald (Sharrie), Daphne (Anthony) and Jeffrey; sister in love, Debbie; my granddaughter, McKenzie; my aunts/uncles: Leroy, Ray, Myrna (William), Gayle and Bonnie; my nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, especially Patty, Melody, Sonya, and Debbie (Sponsor).

Love,

“Lady” B out
